Luís Arthur Barros
Bass player and teacher in Ribeirão Preto
- 🇧🇷 Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo, Brazil
- Ribeirão Preto Music School
- Since 1995
- Portuguese
I've played bass since 1995, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 11 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I make terrible puns.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Luís
I write my first song when I was 19. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Luís: Any gift will help me keep teaching kids who can't afford lessons.
