Lucy Lucy Mwangi
Master of tailoring, now teaching apprentices
- 🇰🇪 Mombasa, Mombasa, Kenya
- Mombasa Works
- 2008 to 2021
- English, Swahili, Spanish
I'm a tailoring specialist. If you live around Mombasa, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I carry a notebook everywhere.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Lucy: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
