I spent 28 years as a lecturer in philosophy at Acacia Polytechnic in London. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a shop assistant and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
What gifts mean to Lucy: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
