Lucy K. Howard
Coached table tennis for 29 years in Arlington
- 🇺🇸 Arlington, Texas, United States
- 1988 to 2017
- English, Spanish
I coached table tennis at Arlington Good Shepherd Boxing Gym from 1988 to 2017. Most of my players were between 12 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
