For 34 years I was the geography teacher at Mombasa Secondary School. I taught Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Lucy
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
