I taught home economics and geography at Orchid Girls' School, Thika. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I ran the art club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
