Lucy Hellen Ouma
Painter, potter and teacher at Little Lotus Art Collective
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- 2005 to 2024
- English, Swahili
I work mostly in illustration, sometimes printmaking. My first show was in 2005 at Little Lotus Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by faces I pass in the street. I sing in a choir.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Lucy
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
Mediums
What gifts mean to Lucy: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
