I've coached chess at Kasarani Boxing Gym since 1991. Most of my players were between 10 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I sing in a choir.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Lucy
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Lucy: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
