Lucy Bakari

Tabla and choir direction teacher

  • 🇰🇪 Eldoret, Uasin Gishu, Kenya
  • Lakeview Ensemble
  • Since 2012
  • English, Swahili
I play tabla and choir direction. I started in 2012 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness. I teach about 15 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I'm always reading two books at once.

More about Lucy

I write my first song when I was 17. It was terrible and I still love it.
