Lucy Anyango Kiptoo
Master of carpentry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Old Nairobi Shop
- Since 1979
- English, Swahili
I'm a carpentry specialist. If you live around Nairobi, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I run most mornings.
More about Lucy
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Lucy: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
