Lucky P. Petersen

Children's librarian in Mthatha

  • 🇿🇦 Mthatha, Eastern Cape, South Africa
  • Central Public Library
  • 1981 to 2018
  • English
For 37 years I looked after the shelves, the card catalog and the regulars at Central Public Library. I ran the Saturday reading group and the summer reading challenge. I sing in a choir. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Lucky: I'd put a gift toward a reading corner at the nearby school.
