Lucky Okoro
Swimming and fitness coach, Lagos
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Victory Boxing Gym
- Since 2006
- English, Yoruba
For 20 years I've run the swimming program at Victory Boxing Gym in Lagos. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turn anyone away.
More about Lucky
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Lucky: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
