I've worked in shoemaking from 2000 to 2020. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 880 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I run most mornings.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Luciana
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Luciana: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
