I've been a nurse for 44 years, most of them in rehabilitation at São Paulo Maternity Hospital in São Paulo. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I'm still learning every day.
