I've spent 44 years as a lecturer in computer science at Ciudad de México Institute of Technology in Ciudad de México. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a waiter and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

If you wrote a dissertation with me, I probably still have a copy on my shelf.
What gifts mean to Lucía: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
