Lucía N. Arias
Coached cricket for 40 years in Iztapalapa
- 🇲🇽 Iztapalapa, Ciudad de México, Mexico
- Iztapalapa Football Club
- Since 1986
- Spanish
I've coached cricket at Iztapalapa Football Club since 1986. Most of my players were between 10 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I garden badly but happily.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Lucía
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Lucía: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

You taught us how to lose properly. Worth more than any trophy! Greetings from Aswan.
