Lucia Marchetti
Volleyball coach, Palermo Boxing Gym
- 🇮🇹 Palermo, Sicily, Italy
- Palermo Boxing Gym
- Since 1979
- Italian
For 47 years I've run the volleyball program at Palermo Boxing Gym in Palermo. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turn anyone away.

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Lucia: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
