Coached cross country for 26 years in Cali
- 🇨🇴 Cali, Valle del Cauca, Colombia
- Cali Valley View Swimming Club
- 1986 to 2012
- Spanish
I coached cross country at Cali Valley View Swimming Club from 1986 to 2012. Most of my players were between 12 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Lucía
If you played for me, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

What gifts mean to Lucía: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
