For 21 years I've run the swimming program at Juazeiro do Norte Windsor Swimming Club in Juazeiro do Norte. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Lúcia
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Lúcia: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
