Lucía C. Salazar
Youth cycling coach and mentor
- 🇨🇴 Envigado, Antioquia, Colombia
- 2012 to 2025
- Spanish
For 13 years I ran the cycling program at Envigado Football Club in Envigado. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Lucía
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Lucía: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

You coached me in 2015. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Jakarta Selatan.
