I teach social studies and religious studies at San Diego Grammar School, San Diego. I learn every name in the first week.
Outside the classroom I fix old bicycles. Inside it, I learn every name in the first week.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Lucía
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Lucía: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me social studies in 2017 at San Diego Grammar School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
