I've worked in auto repair from 1998 to 2020. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 1,190 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 19 years later for another job.
More about Lucia
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Lucia: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
