Lucía A. Navarro
Master of painting and decorating, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 El Paso, Texas, United States
- Elmwood Shop
- Since 1983
- English, Spanish
I've worked in painting and decorating since 1983. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 1,120 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Lucía: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
