I teach accounting at Eastgate Academy in Bakersfield since 1990. Most days I teach Year 7, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I've coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
