Lucas Heitor Borges
Volunteer mentor with Highland Community Trust
- 🇧🇷 Petrópolis, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- Highland Community Trust
- 1978 to 1991
- Portuguese
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 520 people through Highland Community Trust.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I'm learning the guitar.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Lucas
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
What gifts mean to Lucas: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
