For 33 years I have been the mathematics teacher at Valley View Academy. I teach Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.

More about Lucas

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
