I've spent 46 years as a lecturer in political science at Saint-Denis State University in Saint-Denis. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I run most mornings.
More about Lucas
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Lucas: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
