I taught physical education and agriculture at Liberty Public School, San Diego. I never once raised my voice.
Over the years I had 1,060 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Lucas
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Lucas: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
