Luca N. Boyd
Master of masonry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Savannah, Georgia, United States
- The Savannah Trades Guild
- 2009 to 2018
- English
I've worked in masonry from 2009 to 2018. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 240 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I try to remember everyone's name.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Luca
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.

What gifts mean to Luca: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
