I've been a nurse for eleven years, most of them in school nursing at Birmingham Health Center in Birmingham. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I'm still learning every day.
