I taught drama at Pioneer Academy in Padua from 1978 to 2004. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 1,040 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Luca
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Luca: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
