Lubna Zaki
Master of carpentry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇪🇬 Cairo, Cairo, Egypt
- Old Lakeview Repairs
- 1978 to 1989
- English, Arabic, French
I've worked in carpentry from 1978 to 1989. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 250 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I always make time for a proper cup of tea.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Lubna
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
