Luana Gabriela Silva
Master of carpentry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇧🇷 Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil
- The Baobab Shop
- Since 1987
- English, Portuguese, Spanish
I've worked in carpentry since 1987. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 1,480 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 11 years later for another job.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Luana
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
