My subject is materials science, and for 24 years I got to share it with undergraduates at Jacaranda Institute of Technology.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I garden badly but happily.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
