I coached cross country at Mendoza Good Shepherd Youth Club from 2003 to 2019. Most of my players were between 12 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
