I've coached baseball at Córdoba Youth Club since 2010. Most of my players were between 12 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answer every email, even at midnight.
More about Lourdes
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Lourdes: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
