For 15 years I have been the economics teacher at San Cristóbal de las Casas Grammar School. I teach Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
