Helping people break into farming
- 🇲🇽 San Nicolás de los Garza, Nuevo León, Mexico
- Baobab Community Trust
- Since 1994
- Spanish
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,250 people through Baobab Community Trust.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
More about Lorenzo
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Lorenzo: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.

You helped me get my first farming job in 2003. I still have your notes. Greetings from Mecca.
