Lorenzo J. Ibáñez

Woodcarving and calligraphy artist

  • 🇲🇽 Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico
  • The Tlaquepaque Studio
  • Since 2010
  • English, Spanish
I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes calligraphy. My first show was in 2010 at The Tlaquepaque Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. Most of my work is inspired by my grandmother's kitchen. I'm always reading two books at once. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Lorenzo

I've had 4 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
