Lorenzo Ávila
Master of carpentry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇦🇷 Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires, Argentina
- Buenos Aires Workshop
- 1981 to 2013
- Spanish
My trade is carpentry. I opened my own shop in 1981 in Buenos Aires and I'm still there most mornings.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 25 years later for another job.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Lorenzo: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
