Lorena Machado

Religious studies teacher at Elmwood Girls' School, Since 1997

Elmwood Girls' School is my second home. I teach religious studies there since 1997, mostly the youngest children. Outside the classroom I walk the dog by the river. Inside it, I never turn anyone away. I'm still learning every day.

More about Lorena

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Lorena: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
