Lorena L. Soto
Youth wrestling coach and mentor
- 🇪🇸 Bilbao, Basque Country, Spain
- Since 2011
- Spanish
For 15 years I've run the wrestling program at Bilbao Atlas Football Club in Bilbao. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
More about Lorena
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Lorena: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
