Social studies and statistics teacher, Dayton
- 🇺🇸 Dayton, Ohio, United States
- St. Joseph's Academy
- Since 2008
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 18 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I sing in a choir. Inside it, I play music while people worked.
More about Long
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Long: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
