Lola Fatima Afolabi

38 years teaching special education in Lagos

  • 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
  • Lagos Middle School
  • Since 2011
  • English, Igbo
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 15 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. I've coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

More about Lola

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
