Lola Adaeze Balogun
Coached hockey for nine years in Lagos
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Lagos Swimming Club
- 2016 to 2025
- English
I coached hockey at Lagos Swimming Club from 2016 to 2025. Most of my players were between 12 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
