For 22 years I've run the athletics program at Sunrise Athletic Club in Sacramento. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Lộc
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Lộc: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
