Lộc Phung
Master of blacksmithing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇻🇳 Hanoi, Hanoi, Vietnam
- Old Hanoi Trades Guild
- Since 1979
- English, Vietnamese
I've worked in blacksmithing since 1979. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 2,350 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I fix old bicycles.

If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Lộc: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
