Liya Yodit Tadesse
Pottery, done properly
- 🇪🇹 Jimma, Oromia, Ethiopia
- 2002 to 2017
- English, Amharic
I've worked in pottery from 2002 to 2017. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 600 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I walk the dog by the river.
More about Liya
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
