Liya Sosina Assefa
33 years teaching religious studies in Mekelle
- 🇪🇹 Mekelle, Tigray, Ethiopia
- Mekelle Public School
- 2016 to 2025

I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and nine years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I ran the gardening club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I run most mornings.
More about Liya
If you were in my the final-year class class, you probably remember the rainy sports day.

You taught me religious studies in 2020 at Mekelle Public School. I still remember the snow day nobody expected.
