I teach physical education at Mekelle Academy in Mekelle since 2017. Most days I teach the final-year class, and I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Outside the classroom I make terrible puns. Inside it, I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Liya
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
